Every piece is lovingly handcrafted in clay, cast in lead-free pewter, and then plated in silver color.
The artist takes polymer-clay to form his pieces. Just like a sculpture he works his way through the process of adding and carving away the material until he is satisfied with the look and feel.
Now the polymer-clay is baked in the oven so it hardens, that way it is possible to make a black rubber mold from it. The rubber mold, now two halves with the negative space for the metal to fill, is taken and put into a centrifugal machine which spins around while the hot metal is poured into it. This way you get the actual pieces but they look dull and so they are electro plated to give a silver like color which does not tarnish and gives the figurines a beautiful rich luster.
